I was the Marketing Associate for the New Era x Buff State Design-a-Thon (2026). I managed these Instagram/Facebook accounts: @buffalostate and @buffalostatefashion. Additionally, I made collaborative posts with @newerabuffalo and @artdesignbuffalo. This role was in collaboration with the Creative Services Associates, Dondre Baker (photography) and Djuan Boyd (videography).
Over the weekend and the following week, I produced 9 Buffalo State Fashion posts, including collaborations with Buffalo State, New Era Buffalo, and the Art & Design department. I also created 16 Instagram and Facebook Stories to extend the campaign’s reach and maintain engagement across platforms.
Design-a-thon
The New Era Cap x Buffalo State Design-a-thon is a three-day creative competition where students collaborate, experiment, and transform recycled New Era apparel and headwear into avant-garde works of art. Guided by industry professionals and mentors, participants develop their designs while gaining hands-on experience, networking opportunities, and exposure to careers in the fashion industry.
